CBS Television Studios is one of the industry’s leading suppliers of programming for broadcast, basic and premium cable, and streaming platforms. For CBS All Access, the Studio produces THE GOOD FIGHT; STRANGE ANGEL; the streaming service’s first comedy series, NO ACTIVITY; WHY WOMEN KILL; INTERROGATION as well as the upcoming highly anticipated revival of THE TWILIGHT ZONE. Additionally, as part of the expansion of the Star Trek universe, the Studio produces the Untitled Star Trek series featuring Sir Patrick Stewart reprising the role of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Star Trek: Short Treks as well as the recently announced Star Trek: Lower Decks, which marks CBS All Access’s foray into the animation landscape. The Studio’s programming also includes series based on popular, viral segments from THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN, "Carpool Karaoke" for Apple Music and "Drop the Mic" for TBS, as well as "Insatiable," "Unbelievable" and "Dead to Me" for Netflix. Additionally, the Studio produces the comedy anthology series "The Guest Book" for TBS; OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT and YOUR HONOR for SHOWTIME as well as "A Higher Loyalty," a miniseries based on former FBI Director James Comey’s memoir.


CBS is seeking a Vice President / Human Resources to join the LA based HR group in providing HR leadership to employees and management team in our LA based business units. Responsibilities include providing strategic advice on a wide variety of areas to maximize organizational effectiveness and performance. In this role, the Vice President will grow additional strong partnerships with management and ensures HR strategies, processes and practices align with the Corporation and the division’s business needs.

  • Provide HR support to multiple CBS business units in support of employee relations, performance management, strategic planning and compliance with HR policies and procedures.

  • Provide coaching to managers, offering feedback and advice on issues in a proactive and compassionate manner.

  • Manage performance in partnership with Legal and Labor Relations

  • Work with management to develop and implement training strategies to meet employee needs, including supervisory training

  • Support cultural growth and change

  • Assist in the recruitment efforts processes which includes development of job descriptions, creation of diversity recruitment strategies, posting, background verification's and candidate interviews. Liaises with the hiring manager and the Talent Acquisition group for all open positions

  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws



  • Organizational growth, succession planning and change management experienced preferred

  • Experience in a union environment preferred

  • Minimum 12 years relevant HR experience in Entertainment industry

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred
