Job Description

  • Oversee all critical Incentive Program deadlines

  • Track and log progress of all processes with critical deadlines

  • Follow-up with Production Accountants on the progress and status of all critical deadlines

  • Oversee compliance with all incentive program requirements

  • Track and log status of all requirements

  • Follow-up with Production Accountants on the status of all requirements

  • Coordinate with Production Finance Executives to ensure compliance of all incentive program deadlines and requirements

  • Create and maintain a Management Summary of the Status of All Incentive Critical Deadlines and Requirements by production

  • Coordinate with VP Production Finance re incentive entity structures and integration into CBS Studio and Corporate processes and systems

  • Coordinate the completion and timely submission of all program applications and final submissions, including:

  • Final cost report submission

  • Entity compliance

  • Oversee all incentive audits, including:

  • Oversee all audit prep work

  • Resolving all audit issues

  • Manage the timely collection of all incentives

  • Prepare and maintain a report of collection amounts and due dates

  • Lead monthly incentive status meeting

  • Coordinate with SVP regarding audit firm engagements

  • Selection of firms

  • Negotiation of fees

  • Support relationships with Film Commissioners, auditors and other governmental partners.

  • Interact with Studio Executives and show level producers

  • Interact with co-production partners re co-production incentive programs

  • Estimated Final Cost

  • Provide Studio Executives with real time status of credits available and program requirements

  • Support Production Finance operations, including:

  • Cost Reporting

  • Budgeting

  • Daily supervision of location accounting operations

  • Site reviews of location accounting operations and performance.



  • 5 to 7 years production accounting experience, including:

  • Vista experience preferred

  • Comprehensive production accounting office experience

  • Qualified spend recognition

  • Labor and fringe reconciliations

  • Incentive audit support and solutioning

  • Production accounting/Incentive problem solving skills

  • Budgeting

  • Cost Reporting

  • Location accounting daily operations

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Familiarity with various state, provincial, foreign and federal incentive programs

  • Experience with incentive entity set-ups / structures

  • Experience in managing audits

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to support positive relationships with various film commissioners, auditors and other governmental partners

  • Experience/ability to positively interact with Studio Executives and show level producers

  • Incentive processing experience preferred

  • Initial applications

  • Collections experience

  • Strong excel skills
