Role Details:

The Marketing Programs Specialist will be responsible for supporting our Internal Marketing teams in planning and executing the digital advertising campaigns for CBS products. This individual will work with Internal Marketing teams to ensure flawless campaign planning and execution as well as provide optimal client service support for Marketing points of contact. The Marketing Programs Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for managing campaign execution for the Marketing Programs team from end to end. This includes: advertising creative deadlines, technical specifications, and inventory availability.

You day-to-day:

  • Attend and participate in campaign creative kick off calls

  • Work across functional groups such as Internal Marketing, Ad Ops, Yield, Creative Services, and other teams to assist in the creation and execution of internal marketing campaigns

  • Maintain Marketing Promotions calendar and manage larger promotions similar to a project with regular touch base meetings and updates to stakeholders

  • Verify inventory availability throughout the campaign workflow

  • Create internal Orders and adhere to defined business processes

  • Enter internal plans in Operative One order management system and manage order through approval process

  • Communicate ad specifications and creative lead times to Marketing points of contact

  • Collect creative, verify they are within specifications

  • Provide trafficking instructions to Ad Ops

  • Confirm Rich Media testing completed and creative assets built in house on time

  • Proactively monitor campaign performance and delivery goals, escalate delivery issues as necessary

  • Provide reporting and basic analysis on Marketing campaigns

  • Work on ad hoc projects in tandem with Revenue Operations Project Manager


What you bring to the team:

  • The successful candidate must be Sales/Marketing focused and must have direct experience in the Internet and/or Advertising industries.

  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent training and experience)

  • 2 years work experience in a sales support related role. (required)

  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment

  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively across functional groups

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required

  • Knowledge of Double Click and/or other ad server preferred
