In this position, will record and process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing along with administering policies relating to all phases of human resources/payroll activity by performing the following duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources/payroll functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.

  • Processes weekly/semi-monthly payrolls

  • Tracks attendance for adherence to attendance policy and issues appropriate warnings

  • Administers all LOA's: STD, FMLA and workers compensation

  • Maintains all OSHA log requirements

  • Updates, maintains and inputs into EOT system

  • Controls security access

  • Chairs activity committee

  • Coordinates all temporary agency assignments

  • Interacts with controllers department on all SOX payroll reporting and quarterly audits

  • Resolves employee inquiries

  • Coordinates all facility activities

  • Calculates and adjusts vacation accruals

  • Issues vacation schedules

  • Assists with recruiting


Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
