CBS Television Stations consists of 29 owned-and-operated stations, including 16 that are part of the CBS Television Network, eight affiliates of The CW Network, three independent stations and two MyNetworkTV affiliates. Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. Worth), KPIX-TV and KBCW-TV (San Francisco), WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV (Boston), WUPA-TV (Atlanta), WWJ-TV and WKBD-TV (Detroit), KSTW-TV (Seattle), WTOG-TV (Tampa-St. Petersburg), WCCO-TV (Minneapolis), KCNC-TV (Denver), WFOR-TV and WBFS-TV (Miami), KOVR-TV and KMAX-TV (Sacramento), KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV (Pittsburgh), WJZ-TV (Baltimore), as well as WCCO-TV’s satellite stations KCCO-TV (Alexandria, Minn.) and KCCW-TV (Walker, Minn.).


CBS 3, KYW-TV / CW Philly 57, WPSG-TV is seeking a motivated professional to join our staff as an IT Support Specialist, reporting directly to the Director of Broadcast Operations and Engineering.

Proficient and comprehensive knowledge of workstations, servers, peripherals, and mobile devices, Windows OS, Mac OS, networking and analyzing techniques is required

We are a 24/7 operation and the candidate may be required to work non-traditional shifts, weekends/holidays, and be willing to be on call and/or work extra hours as needed.

Primary duties:

Diagnosing and resolving a broad range of technology-related problems in response to user reported incidents.

Installation, configuration and daily maintenance/troubleshooting of computer systems.

System patches/upgrades and hardware/software configurations.

Operational support for end-users, quickly respond to calls.

Interact with third party vendors and support technicians.

Lead, execute and complete projects as directed by management


Possess strong IT/networking and problem-solving skills.

Be a self-starter and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as a part of a diverse team.

Be project oriented, organized and able to show a proven record of accomplishment of previously executed projects from concept to completion.

Demonstrate the ability to pivot and manage changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Be user focused, with a desire to provide superior customer service.

Communicate status and plans clearly with users is essential.

Must be able to lift and carry equipment as necessary.

An Associate's degree or higher plus five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
