DESCRIPTION:

This position will supervise the daily operations of the Traffic section. Main job duties will require the candidate to:

  • Enter and update commercial data into the PHOENIX computer system.

  • Monitor all commercials scheduled by Network Sales, ensuring that they have received broadcast approval.

  • Compile and circulate twice daily list of pending commercials that have not yet been received or reviewed and are scheduled for air within 24 hours.

  • Oversee the running of the traffic area. Input and update commercial information, provided by editors, through clearance reports into the commercial inventory system.

  • Act as liaison with Sales Traffic, ensuring that their needs are addressed in a timely manner and that they are promptly notified of Standards and Practices issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Word processing, strong organizational ability and fast and precise data entry skills. Attention to detail, ability to be diplomatic and to cope with substantial pressures.

  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills. Precise proofreading and grammar.

Preferred:

  • College degree.
