DESCRIPTION:

Showtime is looking for a full stack web developer versed in PHP along with JavaScript, HTML and CSS. A good candidate would also bring experience working in and building out scalable architectures on top of SQL storage engines, using PHP as the back end. Also prefer knowledge of best practices when it comes to SEO. Experience working with or building out a CMS is a bonus..

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of frontend development experience.

  • Has experience with Laravel or a similar framework such as Symfony or CakePHP.

  • Has worked with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular or Backbone.

  • Has developed scalable architectures using MySQL or Postgres, Redis, Nginx and other platforms where necessary

  • Has experience building and maintaining a CMS, including admin tools and front end templating.

  • Experience working with ad tech systems such as Doubleclick for both web and video.

Bonus skills:

  • Understand the ever-evolving landscape of SEO.

  • Has built and maintained caching layers using technologies such as Varnish

  • Has deep knowledge of performant SQL and understands data pipelines to big data stores such as ElasticSearch

  • Knowledge of other full stack languages (i.e. NodeJS, Ruby, Java)
