DESCRIPTION:

This position reports to the Director of Manpower Services. This position will be working with other members of the scheduling and sports technical operations management teams in the planning and hiring of IBEW technicians based on equipment levels for upcoming events. This position will coordinate the onboarding of technicians including completing new hire paperwork, setting up payroll with the payroll team and coordinating utilities.

  • Contact local IBEW offices for utility positions needed on various sports remotes. Communicate site location, call times and tech manager contact information to the local union offices.

  • Enter all utility crews into the department’s scheduling software. Update and notify management of any changes to utility crews made by the local union office

  • Notify local non-utility technicians of call times, site location and tech manager contact information.

  • Send travel notification emails to staff and freelance technicians working on sports remotes.

  • Distribute and receive new hire paperwork to and from technicians and local IBEW union offices. Follow up with technicians and local utilities to ensure completion of the on-boarding process. Keep detailed payroll logs to track the on-boarding progress for all newly hired technicians and utilities. Deliver completed new hire packets to the payroll department.

  • Inform onsite Tech Managers of any new hires working on upcoming events and assist them with questions regarding the new hire paperwork.

  • Assist the Director and Manager of the department with special projects as needed.

  • Overtime may be required during peak periods.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1 years of scheduling/crewing experience required

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with various deadlines

  • Strong organizational ability and detail management necessary

  • Strong interest in Sports is required.
