DESCRIPTION:

Coordinates for Broadcast Control department episode, ingest and format information for NY based programs and Special Event programming. Prepares and distributes program/broadcast information for CBS/CW Broadcast Control and Affiliate stations.

  • Serve as a liaison between production staff, Special Events and Broadcast Control during live Specials

  • Gather and disseminate operations information for NY originated special programs (Grammy's, ACMA's, Tony's) for Broadcast Control

  • Must provide coverage whenever they air on evenings and weekends

  • Create Ingest tasks for all NY based programs

  • Coordinate billboards for CBS This Morning

  • Prepare and disseminate timings for all CBS and CW programs to affiliates

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • College Graduate

  • Exposure to the dynamics of live programming

  • Must be able to react to various broadcast situations effectively

  • Must be detail oriented

Preferred:

  • Some exposure to the dynamics of television operations is preferred
