DESCRIPTION:

CBS Television Network seeks an experienced Legal File Coordinator to work and manage the file room. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Attorneys and Paralegals in the accurate maintenance of legal documents, both electronic and physical formats.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create, sort, file, track and organize a high volume of legal documents/records using Autonomy, the document management system.

  • Execute the record retention and filing policy.

  • Ensure files are accessible.

  • Perform general office duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior legal records management/file room experience required (either law firm or in-house legal department).

  • Familiarity with legal documents.

  • Must be highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail.

  • Must be able to multitask and work in a high volume/fast-paced environment.

  • Must have the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.

  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude.

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
