DESCRIPTION:

The CBS This Morning Greenroom Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day schedule and workflow of the talent and guest hair and makeup teams. They will be responsible for distributing guest and talent arrival schedules as well as coordinating transportation to and from the broadcast studio.

Ideal candidate will be extremely self-motivated, organized, proactive, detailed, reliable, trustworthy, and diplomatic.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Distribute talent / guest arrival and on air schedule then communicate details of guest appearance to the hair and makeup team via email and in daily briefing.

  • Communicate with control room segment producers to make sure changes are relayed to talent teams in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate transportation needs and make arrangements with car service company.

  • Greet guests on arrival and escort them to assigned makeup and dressing rooms.

  • Facilitate catering orders for guests in dressing rooms and greenroom.

  • Assist with post-tape segments and musical performances in studio.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have strong analytical skills, be detailed orientated and maintain the highest degree of accuracy.

  • Must complete multiple tasks on time and under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours depending on the news cycle.

  • Strong PC and Excel spreadsheet skills required.

  • Strong interest in News and Journalism and a keen eye for current events.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
