The Integrated Marketing team leads sales and sponsorship-related projects from ideation through post-sale implementation and execution. We work with all departments across CBSi including product, edit, content strategy, consumer marketing, ad operations, sales and more. A well-balanced partnership between Integrated Marketing and Sales is vital to being able to collaboratively bring strategic ideas to clients and develop creative solutions that meet business objectives.
The Associate Manager, Integrated Marketing coordinates the development, packaging, implementation and evaluation of revenue-generating programs across CBS.com/Digital Platforms, CBS All Access and video programming. The ideal candidate is a team player and master multi-tasker with the keen ability to organize and prioritize projects against deadlines.
Collaborate with Editorial, Product, Content Strategy and Sales teams to build advertising products and solutions in response to RFPs and client meetings and pitches.
Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners, other departments and business units within CBS Interactive.
Source and leverage research data and analytics to develop and support advertising offerings, sponsorships and RFPs.
Support the development of sales-related tools and presentations including sales collateral (1-sheets, mocks), media plans and ad research.
Ability to anticipate the needs of product and sales teams, as well as clients’ needs to facilitate fast and effective stream of communication.
Possess the desire to thrive in a rapidly changing environment that evolves with marketplace needs and conditions.
Reports to Director, Integrated Marketing, in NY
Formulate and implement forward-thinking, effective marketing strategies and campaigns, focused on Late Night, Daytime and any multimedia (TV+Digital/Social) programs across all dayparts.
Increase collaboration with CBS Television Network on multimedia programs.
Meet regularly with counterpart Integrated Marketing teams to share best practices and develop cross-business unit ideas.
Lead the execution of projects, including reporting and project-managing timelines to ensure delivery against campaign and revenue targets.
What you bring to the team:
You have -
3-4 years of marketing or integrated/product marketing experience. Advertising agency, brand or online publishing experience a plus.
Project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Communicates effectively, understanding the nuances of his/her audience.
Customer-focused, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Understanding of the basic principles of Marketing (including Research, Public Relations, Branding, Pricing and Product Development) as well as sales and selling cycles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on PPT and Excel. Design/Photoshop skills a plus!
Passion or interest in television/entertainment is a plus.
