This position would be a part of Studio 61, CBS Interactive's in-house creative and production team. Studio 61 collaborates with brands to create custom, scalable premium content that entertains, informs, and engages our massive global audience, through our respected and trusted CBSi sites.
We are looking for a new team member who thrives in a high-tech, fast-paced, creative environment. In this role you will collaborate with brands to create custom content and manage all production and execution aspects of custom content initiatives across CBS Interactive’s portfolio. The Associate Content Producer would work with various cross functional internal teams and would report to the Studio 61’s Senior Content Producer.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of project management and lead project planning of custom content initiatives through strategic project planning and well-managed production development.
Manage the production/execution of integrated custom content programs through strategic project planning and well-managed production development - from inception (project planning) to production to completion.
Manage several custom content programs with concurrent production deadlines and competing priorities; troubleshoot and drive project issues/challenges to successful conclusion/completion.
Communicate with clients as a lead POC and manage project scope, ensure production timelines (deadlines, deliverables, client requests) are maintained / adhered to while meeting client expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (such as sales, client services, creative team, and integrated marketing) to ensure tasks are organized, client feedback is implemented, and custom assets and corresponding creative ads are executed on time.
Establish an effective review of branded content projects, once delivered to the client, and provide strategic workflow recommendations that can help improve the production process throughout the project life cycle.
Participate in brainstorming meetings, offering creative ideas, and ensuring ideas and tasks are organized and executed.
Forge strong working relationships with counterparts in and across other CBSi offices
Build relationships with external partners and vendors whose services we may need to use to produce and execute custom content programs.
Lead the project planning and work with the Studio 61 video production team to help plan and produce large-scale video shoots and live events for well-known consumer brands.
Participating in the brainstorming of the custom content program at inception
Collaborating with content editors and video producers and offering creative ideas and solutions as the video concepts are being developed.
Working with well known talent / influencers and participating on-set to assist the Studio 61 video production team and talent as needed.
Using your skills in project management to project plan, develop, execute, and improve our products throughout the project life cycle.
What you bring to the team:
2-3 years of digital media and content development experience, with a thorough understanding of project management and video production.
Excellent organizational & project management skills and a keep ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously from conception to completion and track details without losing sight of the big picture.
Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to build productive relationships with peers, internal and external customers, and all levels of management across the business.
Client & Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have previous online experience and familiarity with web technologies and their terminology.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
You might also have:
Minimum of BA or equivalent training and experience.
Prefer candidates with experience in web and video production. Agency or branded content experience is a plus.
Entrepreneurial, resourceful and proactive approach!
Comfortable working independently, or collaboratively as part of a larger team.
Ability and openness to wear many hats as needed for certain projects if bandwidth is low
Occasional travel, weekend and/or after-hours availability required for certain projects.
