The ASE will collaborate with Engineering peers, Product Managers, Designers, Product Marketers, QA, Operations and Editors, to guide and produce functional specifications and implement final production-quality code directly within our live site code base. The ASE may lead small to mid-sized development projects, in addition to performing functional change requests and other minor engineering tasks.

You have at least 1+ year(s) development experience working with the following technologies:
Web Standards, the DOM, cross-browser & cross-platform HTML
CSS positioning, HTML/CSS architecture
PHP or equivalent server-side web development language (ASP.net, JSP etc.)
Java or equivalent programming language (C#, C, C++, Objective C, etc.)
XML or JSON
You have the following non-technical competencies:
Ability to work as part of a close-knit cross-functional team
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and a high-level of accountability
Ability to estimate development schedules
You might also have some experience or knowledge with the following technologies:
Experience with jQuery, RequireJS, SASS, LESS, Symfony, Laravel, Build Systems
Knowledge of Agile and/or similar development methodologies
Mobile application development (iPhone iOS (Objective-C), Android (Java, C, C++))
