This position is responsible for management of divisional treasury services and oversight of general ledger activity to include cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll and intercompany transfers. In addition, this position provides support and general ledger review of information for the Corporate tax department.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

  • Preparation of weekly divisional cash forecasts for Corporate and Senior Management review

  • Review and approval of divisional cash wire payments for production fundings, distribution costs and miscellaneous payments

  • Review of bank fact sheets for set up of new divisional bank accounts

  • Review of daily cash receipts and disbursements for entry to general ledger

  • Review of annual tax package with Corporate Tax to ensure general ledger information and supporting schedules are accurate

  • Reconciliation of intercompany cash balances with Corporate to ensure cash receipts and disbursements are properly recorded to the general ledger

  • Coordination with IT on various projects to include cash management implementation and maintenance

  • Set up of Oracle Bank Codes for production and other bank accounts as needed for cash management

  • Review and approval of payroll journal entries

  • Management review of variance analyses for applicable areas of responsibility to include cash, accounts payable and fixed assets


Basic qualifications skills:

  • Public accounting background (Big 4 or large regional firm)

  • CPA

  • Experience in Entertainment Industry

Preferred qualifications skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 10+ years of experience in Public Accounting and/or Financial Reporting

  • Detailed knowledge of accounting, finance, GAAP, cash management, fixed assets

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and solve problems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting information to Senior Management
