DESCRIPTION:

  • Showtime Networks Inc., a leader in premium entertainment programming, is seeking a Senior Manager, Point of Sale based in the Los Angeles corporate office. With critically acclaimed Original Series including hits like Homeland, Shameless, Ray Donovan and a wide portfolio of products, we are searching for candidates that are passionate about Showtime programming, and can represent the network as a brand ambassador.

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Point of Sale is accountable for maximizing subscriber and revenue growth through sales and retention tactics for multichannel video programming distributors (MVPDs). This position is also responsible for customer relations, product training and development, performance analysis and executing SNI’s strategies as they relate to sales within assigned accounts and/or territories. We are looking for a highly motivated, strategic, and enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude that excels in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment.

Principle Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

* * Train and motivate customer contact personnel (domestic/offshore) within assigned account territories on SNI product knowledge, sales and retention techniques, new product launches and campaign initiatives

* * Create and use results-oriented product training presentations and sales materials to influence and maximize subscriber growth

* * Identify, develop and work closely with account team to create innovative sales initiatives and other programs that are on brand strategy and meet account goals and objectives

* * Build relationships with multiple Point-of-Sale channels, both physical and virtual (Call Centers, Direct Sales, Field Services, Retail, etc.)

* * Manage budget resource allocation based on business needs

* * Responsible for on-going analysis of incentive and point of sale programs including but not limited to ROI analysis, revenue and subscriber projections

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrate a high degree of knowledge and understanding of subscription business, account management, sales strategies and incentive development

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; written and oral

  • Extraordinary training and presentation skills for small and large groups

  • Understanding of other cultures and cross cultural communications

  • Strong client relationship management skills

  • Analytical focus

  • Self-motivated and excellent follow-through

  • Must be highly organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment

  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe & Salesforce a plus

  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time; possible evening and weekend travel as needed

  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

  • Valid Driver’s License and Passport with no travel restrictions

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 5 years of relative business experience
