The Content Strategy & Partnerships team manages the digital brand health of CBS linear television and CBS All Access programming. We connect production, product, PR, distribution and marketing teams to protect and project the essence of our programs across consumer touch points, and we partner with third party platforms and producers to enhance our digital products and services.
You will be responsible for knowing your shows - the people, the content, the sensitivities, and the fans - inside and out. You’ll represent interactive on cross-functional projects and build relationships with stakeholders to grow trust and help our shows innovate in the space.
Liaise with editorial teams and network stakeholders on approvals for weekly digital content tied to a subset of network shows.
Manage the asset lifecycle of content and interactive features derived from show production and/or created by internal resources.
Lead brainstorms around assigned shows and oversee prioritization and planning of all promotional activity around assigned shows.
Assist with interactive launches on CBS.com related to the show and manage the necessary approvals required, checking on launch status and identifying potential problems.
Prepare wrap up reports that outline the results of various interactive features and maintain tracking documents for assigned shows.
Work with sales and integrated marketing teams on ideation and packaging of sponsorable features tied to assigned shows.
Assist at press and other publicity events as assigned.
Assist with logistics and work with Network publicity team to coordinate and schedule live social.
Participate in the launch of major broadcast television shows from upfronts through TCAs to premiere
Lead annual digital brand health report meetings across all stakeholders
What you bring to the team:
You have -
A passion for television!
6-8 years experience working on interactive features and digital content related to TV programming
Bachelor’s Degree required
Working knowledge of online, mobile and social media.
General understanding of network television programming
Strong Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
You might also have -
Ability to easily interact and interface with television production personnel
Diverse experience and skills across creative, project management, product and data/metrics
Experience presenting and communicating with senior executives and external partners
Excellent interpersonal and communication (listening, oral, written, presentation) skills
Experience using Asana
Ability to think on your feet
Strong attention to detail
Comfort managing multiple projects at once in a high pressure environment
