Division Overview:

Our CBS Interactive Games team is responsible for developing compelling narratives and experiences- as told through mobile, online and console video games- which are based on our most watched and iconic brands. Through licensing to top publishers and developers, our team generates incremental revenue and expands fan experiences beyond watching on CBS and CBS All Access. Our team optimizes the best game experiences for our brands by analyzing the competitive landscape and working with our partners to innovate and impact the audience in a new and engaging way.

Role Details:

CBS Interactive is seeking a creative and capable gaming producer who is passionate about television, gaming, media and entertainment. The ideal candidate excels in a collaborative environment and is relentlessly focused upon the objective of connecting consumers with content, community and interactivity of CBS brands via games, apps and other revenue driving digital products through Licensing Relationships

Your Day-to-Day:

  • This person will be charged to work with Licensing Partners to conceptualize, develop and execute new mobile, online and console game product development from contract phase through launch.

  • Keep up with gaming trends across mobile, social, online, console and emerging platforms and makes recommendations on strategy

  • Understand and interpret key Gaming KPIs

  • Maintain familiarity with all Key CBS Brands and report on them to stakeholders across the organization at all levels

  • Own products throughout their lifecycle and work to resolve bugs or issues quickly and efficiently.

  • Ability to clearly communicate project scope, schedules and deadlines in a cross functional environment

  • Collaborate with internal clients for asset acquisition and brand approvals, producers, designers, ad operations and editorial as well as external partners to implement and manage product features, and to grow ongoing third party relationships.

  • Ensure that our products are consistent with the brand and experience guidelines.

Key Projects:

  • Describe current projects or exciting & challenging upcoming initiatives—a list of daily duties is not enough to woo today’s candidates--they want to know, specifically, what some of the cool projects are that they’ll get to develop or improve (rather than maintain)


What you bring to the team:

You have -

  • Experience with online and mobile game product management or project management including consumer research, product strategy, and online promotion

  • Ability to operate independently and decisively, work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously (should have extensive experience releasing multiple products at once and project management of each) in a fast, round-the-clock, results-oriented environment.

  • Energetic self-starter with a positive "can-do" attitude

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and creative-thinking skills

  • Strong organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to hold and conduct meetings in a time efficient manner resulting in desired outcome.

  • Ability to multi-task, pivot, and change focus when necessary

You might also -

  • Be an avid gamer and familiar with gaming practices across mobile, console and real-world platforms

  • Have basic knowledge of image manipulation tolls like Photoshop

  • Have knowledge of and interest in online media, mobile media, emerging interactive technologies and online marketing; understanding of mobile and web publishing and familiarity with content management systems a plus.
