We are currently recruiting an Executive Assistant for one of our SVP's Client Relations & our VP Business Development, based at our EMEA Headquarters in Amsterdam. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing general sales/administrative/secretarial support for both the SVP Client Relations and the VP Business Development, both native English.

  • General sales/administrative/secretarial support for both the SVP Client Relations and the VP Business Development, both native English

  • Help them manage paperwork/administration for new and existing customers efficiently

  • Manage multiple calendars: schedule conference calls and meetings

  • Book frequent travel on behalf of sales people or team members

  • Prepare and manage frequent expense reports and reconciliations

  • Screen incoming calls, correspondence, interoffice materials. Determine the priority and respond appropriately

  • Coordinate and manage meetings, events, space plans, off sites, and take meeting minutes

  • Multiple internal systems

  • Run sales & other reports as needed

  • Basic understanding of International Television Licensing.

  • Create, modify and format documents electronically including letters, memos, trip reports, itineraries, status reports, presentations (PowerPoint), spreadsheets (Excel), and other related documents (may be of a highly confidential/critical nature)

  • Proofread, copy, scan, file, and track a variety of business documents

  • Translate Dutch correspondence where necessary

  • 1-5 years administrative/secretarial work experience in a sales assistant, sales support and/or sales administration position, preferably at an international media/entertainment company

  • Bachelor degree preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy

  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Technically savvy professional. Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, and other specialized computer programs

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and interact with all level of employees

  • Established experience in problem solving, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, following through, and manage issues in a timely manner

  • Proven experience in working in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient

  • Must be fluent in English and Dutch

  • Must have a valid work permit for the Netherlands

  • Full time available, 5 days a week
