Field pitches, identify trends, and help establish the strategic development and programming goals for the Alternative department.
Build and maintain relationships with production and/or co-production partners.
Attend and act as a network producer on sets, run-throughs, casting sessions, tapings, and other program related duties.
Provide notes on development, cuts, and scripts.
Oversee/Manage the development of new and current programming, from initial idea through the final delivery of content whether episodic bibles, presentations, or full series.
Create and edit written materials and video presentations in order to pitch both internally and to potential partners.
Work to enhance current relationships with producers/studios worldwide as well as to help identify potential partnerships domestically and internationally.

Minimum 10 years work experience in the television industry
Minimum 10 years work experience in a production or development capacity
Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Proficiency in Keynote and Avid
Experience in programming for the Network Television market with hands-on experience, ideally from both a production and a development stand-point.
Proven skills in program scheduling and knowledge of network operations.
Extensive knowledge and deep interest in the Alternative Television and Content space.
