Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Support selected "A" Level Account Executives, Sales Managers and the Director of Sales

Interact with clients on behalf of Account Executives; troubleshoot any issues in the absence of the AE

Assist Account Executives in prospecting for leads, setting appointments, attending sales calls, brainstorming ideas, developing proposals and closing business

Enter, revise and review commercial air time and digital orders and contracts

Coordinate client creative and deliverables, analytic, digital and promotional recaps

Consult, collaborate and brainstorm with Account Executives on big ideas

Collaborate with other departments to gather and arrange information needed for client pitches and promotions

Develop presentation formats and materials

Create and/or maintain one-sheets, media kits, promotional recaps, and various reports.

Work directly with Account Executives to oversee the development of new business programs.

Write copy for on-air and online promotions. (including client social media post)

Run weekly client analytics reports

Reconcile accounts via Memo billing and credit practices with both client and Finance departments. Manage the collections process

Research and competitive information (ex. Media Monitors, Miller Kaplan)

Develop the social media and new media marketing skills of local Account Executives

Create client recaps

Stay abreast of trends in marketing, sales and merchandising and promotional tools.

Attend sales meetings, sales calls, training sessions, and client / station events as needed

Back-up other Sales Strategists as needed and any other responsibilities as assigned by management


Exceptional presentation, negotiation and written/verbal communication skills. Must be energetic and confident with the ability to think, learn and adapt to a changing environment quickly. Exceptional time management and organization skills are required. Must be able to demonstrate initiative and have the ability to manage workload with minimal supervision. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance required. 4 year degree in Marketing preferred.
